Disco Jesus is pleased to present an exclusive guest show hosted by good friend, DJ and producer Innersounds who brings together a lovely mix of vintage soul, afro, latin, jazz, house, dub and, of course, underground disco, in a seamless melodious package.

Innersounds spent his early working years behind the counter of cult London record shops where he met many of the world's leading DJs and collectors. He originally fell in love with vinyl while on exchange in Tokyo and maintains strong links with the cutting-edge disco scene over in Japan who continue to turn him on to new sounds. Stints with a couple of independent London labels taught him that music is best appreciated as a personal, non-corporate pursuit. He has since dropped his first edit on the GAMM label in 2006 and launched a blog which is rapidly gaining momentum among fellow underground enthusiasts - http://www.innersounds.co.uk. Recently he has been working with musician Don Froth, helping spread the word about the Froth'n label."

DISCO JESUS/COSMIC ELECTRIC MIX: After hosting a series of iconic guest mixes from Jaz, Disco Basso and Dean Langley - Disco Jesus returns to the airwaves with his own exclusive mix of cosmic electro club classics! Threading the link from early 80s electro/italo, through Chicago jack tracks, to some of his fave current producers such as Danny Wang, Maurice Fulton, I-F and Metro Area, this mix keeps the electro fire burning!

JAZ (John Arthur Zahl) is an ordained Anglican minister and avid vinyl enthusiast, making waves on the underground disco scene in recent years with epic mixes for Lovefingers and highly sought-after edits for cult labels Beard Science, Libre Ambiance, Sixty-Five, and Electunes. His weekly show "The Weejun Hour" can be heard on American Apparel's Viva-Radio.com - alongside prodigious hostings on Dreamchimney, DJ History etc where he generously shares nuggets of deep disco knowledge. He released a CD featuring 14 tasty edits ("I Played Sports") on Sixty-Five last year to much acclaim. He still lives with his wife and greyhound in a mansion in Charleston, South Carolina, where a team of robots..."

Disco Jesus is pleased to welcome a very special summer guest to the Cosmic Connections spaceship. Dean Langley, formerly of London style mag i-D, has long been a champion of true underground dance grooves, as well as an excellent DJ and collector extraordinaire. Over the years, he has brought profiles of the leading lights of progressive disco to the global readership of i-D, including Daniele Baldelli, David Mancuso, DJ Harvey, Gerry "Black Cock" Rooney, Joel "Quiet Village" Martin, Phil Mison, Mark Seven, DJ Alex+Voices - to name a few. His most recent interview with Manchester's legendary Balearic Mike is out now in the September issue of i-D and not to be missed.

Dean is man who seriously knows his music and I'm excited to have him share his current flavours on Cosmic Connections - expect a heady mix of Kraut, Psych-Funk, Afro, Balearic, Boogie and of course deepest Disco as we share the turntables and take to the mic!

ULYSSES82 are an elusive London-based deejay duo with their own unique take on the boogie/late-disco/electro funk sound of the early eighties. Recent plays on Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide show on BBC Radio One have been backed up by widespread local acclaim and blog support from like-minded souls around the world.

In addition to guest sets in London and further afield, ULYSSES82 co-promote regular dancefloor session ‘Ain’t It Black’ in east London and play host at their ad-hoc ‘Don’t Fear The Disco’ parties.
